This is the finished Moss Woman costume.  I used a wide variety of techniques on this costume including breaking down, crochet, darning, leather work, millinery and more.  I experimented with textile techniques to create the moss texture, settling on a combination of punch needle embroidery, freehand machine embroidery and needle felting.  I wanted this project to give me lots of opportunity to try-out different forms of embellishments that I haven’t previously done.  I think the costume is a clear interpretation of my design.
